Our client is seeking a hands-on AI Solutions Architect to design, build, and deploy enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft AI technologies including Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft 365. This role will lead the development of secure, scalable AI assistants, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) platforms, and agentic workflows that leverage enterprise knowledge and data assets. The ideal candidate combines strong architecture skills with hands-on implementation experience and can take AI solutions from ideation through production deployment while ensuring governance, security, and business value.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry), Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI, and Microsoft 365.
- Develop AI assistants and copilots that can securely retrieve information from internal documents, enterprise knowledge bases, and Microsoft 365 content sources.
- Design multi-agent and workflow-based AI systems leveraging Azure AI Foundry Agents, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, Logic Apps, and enterprise APIs.
- Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Microsoft Graph, and enterprise data sources.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, including semantic search, chunking strategies, vector indexing, grounding, and evaluation frameworks.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases and business process automation opportunities.
- Ensure AI solutions comply with security, governance, and data privacy requirements, including protection of PII and confidential business data.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Analytics teams to integrate AI with Snowflake and other enterprise data platforms.
- Define and document evaluation frameworks, guardrails, monitoring, and governance processes for enterprise AI solutions.
- Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, deployment standards, and best practices to support enterprise AI adoption and scalability.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years delivering enterprise software, data, cloud, analytics, or automation solutions, including demonstrated experience deploying at least 2 enterprise AI/GenAI solutions into production and supporting business adoption at scale.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) and/or Copilot Studio.
- Experience building AI assistants, copilots, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Services, Azure AI, or Microsoft AI technologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365 connectors, SharePoint, enterprise search, and secure retrieval of organizational content.
- Strong understanding of semantic search, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI orchestration, and enterprise AI security.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, role-based access controls (RBAC), and enterprise security patterns.
- Experience taking AI solutions from proof-of-concept through production deployment and support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Azure AI Search, vector databases, and document-based AI solutions.
- Experience integrating Microsoft AI services with Snowflake, data warehouses, and enterprise analytics platforms.
- Knowledge of Python, Power Platform, Power Automate, Logic Apps, or REST APIs.
- Experience deploying AI solutions in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Experience implementing governance and security controls for enterprise AI.
- Experience with AI monitoring, evaluation frameworks, observability, and deployment automation.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and AI solution lifecycle management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Semantic Kernel, or other AI orchestration frameworks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Microsoft AI professional who has successfully built and deployed enterprise AI solutions using Microsoft Foundry (Azure AI Foundry) and Copilot Studio. They understand how to securely leverage internal documents, Microsoft 365 content, and enterprise data to build AI assistants, agentic workflows, and business automation solutions. They are comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value AI use cases.
This person should be an implementer, not just an architect, with the ability to take AI solutions from concept through production deployment. The ideal candidate possesses strong experience in Microsoft Graph, RAG architectures, enterprise security, governance, and integration with modern data platforms such as Snowflake.
