Our client is a 350 bed hospital serving the Central Alabama River Region Their comprehensive healthcare services include cardiac, cancer, neurosciences, orthopedics, and women's and children's care, along with 24-hour emergency services. It ranks among the largest hospitals in Alabama and is widely recognized for providing excellence in care.
Under the direction of the VP of Patient Care Services, the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) is responsible for the integration, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient care within the overall operation of the hospital. Directs nursing and patient care to ensure the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective health care consistent with the mission, vision and values of the hospital, Chief Executive Officer and Board of Trustees, in accordance with government regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements. The ACNO participates with the CNO in the hospital’s strategic planning and contributes to the achievement of institutional goals and objectives. The ACNO promotes a culture of Service Excellence and Zero Harm with all customers and groups.
Requirements:
- BSN required plus Master’s Degree in Nursing or applicable Health Care Business or Management.
- 5 years of clinical experience required; 3 years of Nursing Director Leadership experience preferred. Experience managing multiple areas and/or multiple areas of Nursing Expertise. Experience with a wide range of cultural, age and educational diversities within a patient population.
- Current unrestricted Alabama or Multi-State registered nurse (RN) license.
