Job Description

Position Summary:
Bull City Talent Group's direct client has an immediate need for a Senior SAP FI/CO Consultant to serve as the functional lead for the Record-to-Report workstream, executing UAT test cases across period-end close, asset accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. The ideal candidate will have Minimum 10 years of SAP FI/CO functional experience with a minimum of 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations completed, with at least 1 in a regulated multi-entity environment. The role is a defined-term consultant engagement, full-time on-site in the Raleigh-Durham area.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute UAT test scripts across R2R period-end close, asset accounting, and AR/AP workstreams in OpenText ALM/Quality Center
• Lead workday-by-workday period-end close cycle execution , including recurring entries, depreciation runs, regrouping, translation, cost center allocations, and WBS settlement
• Execute multi-ledger financial close across IFRS, STAT, and TAX valuation areas
• Execute asset accounting test cases including intercompany asset transfers, Construction in Progress workflows, retirements, and depreciation across multiple valuation areas
• Validate data migration templates for finance master data through pre-upload and post-upload reconciliation cycles
• Deliver power-user training in R2R sub-modules with focus on close-cycle workflows
• Log defects and coordinate resolution routing with client BTS team
• Execute test cases independently during finance close blackout window
• Participate in daily UAT stand-ups, weekly status reporting, and engagement governance

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of SAP FI/CO functional experience
• Minimum 2 full-lifecycle S/4HANA implementations completed, with at least 1 in a regulated multi-entity environment
• Demonstrated expertise in:
• SAP period-end close execution and cutover support
• Multi-ledger financial close (IFRS, STAT, TAX)
• Multi-currency translation (FAGLF101, FAGL_FC_TRANS)
• SAP Asset Accounting (FI-AA), including intercompany transfers and CIP capitalization
• Intercompany processing
• Proficiency in OpenText ALM/Quality Center (formerly HP ALM/Micro Focus Quality Center)
• Experience delivering training to power users in finance functions
• Demonstrated capability to execute test cases independently during finance close periods
