The 401k Client Service Manager provides extraordinary client service as a dedicated member of a client service team. The CSM must demonstrate a commitment to client service through timely, confidential responses, exceptional work ethic and a positive attitude. Successful candidates will be highly dependable with exceptional organizational skills and have a strong understanding of ERISA. Strong project management abilities are also critical to meeting and exceeding expectations in this role.

The CSM reports to a Sr. Vice President, Wealth Management, and is responsible for supporting retirement plan advisors on client service matters and operational tasks.

Responsibilities:


• Work with advisors to onboard new business
• Manage and troubleshoot client service issues
• Work with the retirement advisors to prepare for meetings, review client presentation materials and attend meetings and produce minutes, as needed, including group education meetings
• Coordinate all required information needed by support teams to complete projects and review all internal delegations and projects
• Manage plan merger process and recordkeeper changes
• Manage investment fund changes and employee notices - implement requested changes
• Work with recordkeepers to build an annual communication plan
• Assist with distribution of legislative updates coordinating with marketing department
• Prepare drafts of PowerPoint presentations for group education meetings
• Work with marketing to obtain compliance approval of presentations
• Perform other job-related duties and/or special projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Must have strong analytical skills; accurate attention to detail and the ability to interpret/analyze data
• Must have a professional demeanor with the utmost respect for confidential matters
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have ability to multi-task
• Must have ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment with changing priorities
• Must be a self-starter and results oriented
• Ability to respond in a timely manner, organize tasks, manage time, and prioritize projects with focus on the needs of the client

Education and Experience:

• Required College degree - related field or equivalent experience in a related field
• Series 65 required or obtain within 6 months of employment
• Minimum 2 years of similar work experience in retirement industry
• Previous experience in a client service role at a retirement advisory practice or at a recordkeeper is strongly preferred
