JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Technical Operator in Fountain Inn. Our client is a textile manufacturer.

Shift: 2nd Shift
Days: Monday- Thursday
Time: 4pm-2am
**Note there is a shift premium of $1.25 for 2nd shift**

Responsibilities of a Technical Operator includes experience:

• Use automated equipment and industrial machines to help create and package custom filtration parts.
• Operate various machines including heat and ultrasonic slitters, stamping machines, and automated ultrasonic equipment to produce filtration parts.
• Set up machines using technical guidelines and CAD drawings, adjusting machine settings as needed and loading materials safely.
• Lift materials up to 75 lbs overhead as part of daily tasks.
• Read production orders to understand what materials, sizes, shapes, and tolerances are needed.
• Locate and return materials in the warehouse using bin locations to maintain proper inventory tracking.
• Perform quality checks before, during, and after production to ensure parts meet customer requirements and are free of defects.
• Accurately complete production paperwork, including product counts and material usage.
• Package finished products according to customer specifications and company standards, then stage for warehouse pickup.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer deadlines.
• Ability to follow instructions and technical drawings.
• Comfortable working with machines and tools in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and take initiative to improve processes.

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, machine operator is a plus.
• Ability to read and write English
• Able to safely perform related physical demands of the role: lift up to 75 pounds as needed, stand, walk, sit,
• Use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands or arms; talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Able to use measurement tools proficiently such as tape measure or Microrule (preferred not required)
• Basic math skills
• High mechanical aptitude
