Industrial Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 2nd Shift, weekdays
Role Overview
Responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance activities to support production equipment, facilities, and operations in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, preventative maintenance, and safety compliance.
Core Responsibilities

Perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance on industrial equipment

Diagnose equipment failures and complete break-fix and preventative maintenance tasks

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems using appropriate test equipment

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, controls, and related systems

Repair or replace defective components and verify proper operation after maintenance

Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical documentation

Perform welding tasks as required

Use hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment safely

Operate forklifts, lifts, and overhead cranes as needed

Follow lockout/tagout and other safety procedures

Identify and correct potential safety hazards

Complete work orders and support facility maintenance projects

Maintain accurate communication regarding equipment status and repairs
-
Keep work areas clean and free of hazards

Work independently or with other maintenance personnel as needed
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Technical training or equivalent hands-on maintenance experience
-
Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
-
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems

Familiarity with CNC equipment and automated machinery
-
Ability to work with low-voltage electrical systems
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Electrical and instrumentation experience preferred

U.S. person status required
Physical / Work Requirements
-
Ability to lift and carry up to approximately 35 lbs
-
Stand and walk for extended periods
-
Perform bending, reaching, kneeling, climbing, and manual manipulation
-
Ability to work on ladders, stairs, or elevated platforms
-
Visual and hearing ability sufficient for maintenance and safety tasks
