Salary: Up to $83,200 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate automated CNC lathes and mills precisely according to specifications.
- Set up machines for production runs and ensure tooling accuracy.
- Make adjustments and offsets to meet quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and ensure dimensions meet the technical drawings.
- Implement and document quality checks and maintenance protocols.
- Use various measuring instruments (gauges, micrometers, calipers) to validate product dimensions and integrity.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
- Address and troubleshoot machining or production issues.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and propose efficiency enhancements.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years experience in operating and setting up CNC lathes or mills.
- Proficient understanding of blueprints, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), and G&M codes.
- Ability to efficiently use various measurement tools and instruments.
- Commitment to high-quality output and precision.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
- Residency within 45 minutes of Big Bend, Wisconsin.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with high precision components used in military or aerospace applications is highly desirable.
- Training in Lean Manufacturing or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Technical certification or advanced training in CNC machining or related fields.
- Familiarity with advanced CNC programming.
