Marketing Services Manager
The Marketing Services Manager leads a team of Marketing Services Representatives in growing positive relationships with our clients. You will proactively take responsibility for all aspects of campaign production, including accuracy of client-specific information on each campaign, promptness of launches, adherence to company and brand standards, and troubleshooting potential issues to prevent production delays. As the main point of contact within the Marketing Services team, you will coordinate and strategize with other teams including Proofreading, Marketing Account Management, Program Management, Email Development, Design, and with our external clients. You will represent the production team in meetings and provide reporting on a scheduled and on an as-needed basis. The Marketing Services team needs someone who can handle multiple high-urgency priorities while communicating instructions clearly and redirecting the team as tasks and projects are reprioritized daily.
Ensure that all campaigns and newsletters launch accurately and on time, factoring in brand standards, individual retailer needs, other priorities, and marketing strategy.
Represent the Marketing Services team in meetings and in reporting provided on a scheduled and on an as-needed basis.
Coordinate national and seasonal campaigns, including creating reference materials for training.
Document potential system bugs and feature requests and interact with product management and engineering teams to implement.
Monitor and adjust timelines of high-priority campaign programs, including coaching the team on gathering retailer-specific content and ensuring proper marketing follow-up strategies are followed.
Handle escalations from internal and external clients, including top-tier customer service for urgent campaigns and VIP clients.
Assist in the creation, routing, and monitoring of custom campaign submissions.
Interview, train, and coach employees in collaboration with departmental team leads.
Assign clients to team members and redistribute work assignments as needed.
Maintain knowledge of various automotive brand standards.
Write and maintain training documentation for the Marketing Services team.
Track team statistics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Required Skills and Experience:
5 – 7 years of leadership experience required.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent communication and team building skills.
Ability to manage multiple urgent and important priorities.
Knowledge of and/or experience in marketing, management, and/or project management preferred.
Hire, train, and develop new hires.
Conduct weekly meetings to ensure the department is meeting performance objectives.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
