Data Integration Engineer - Healthcare

This client is one of the fastest growing Digital Health companies in the US! The Data Integration Engineer is responsible for facilitating the acquisition of healthcare data from external entities, and feeding it into the data warehouse and application layer. The engineer implements new data feeds using integration engines, ETL tool suite and scripting languages like Python. They use their knowledge of healthcare data, ETL processes and healthcare integration standards (like HL7) to deploy accurate, reliable and scalable feeds. The integration of external data from payers, practices, HIE’s and hospitals enables all of the analytics and workflow tools that we offer partner practices. Responsibilities Implement new and manage existing interface channels using a healthcare data integration engine (currently Mirth). Provide analysis and guidance around healthcare interoperability standards and formats, including HL7 V2, HL7 V3, FHIR, ANSI X12 and others.. Implement data feeds in a manner that is reproducible and scalable for our growing business. Provide support for deployed interfaces and application issues related to inbound data feeds. Develop flat-file and query based data exports using ETL tools and libraries. Currently, using Pentaho (kettle) and a variety of python libraries for most ETL projects. Maintain GIT source control repositories Manage testing and automated build processes for ETL tools and code

Requirements: • Demonstrated success in growing a P&L through strong entrepreneurial general management skills • Excellent ability to quickly synthesize both quantitative and qualitative data down to conclusions, prioritize opportunities, rally stakeholders, and drive speedy execution • Proven leadership of e-commerce projects, and extensive knowledge of e-commerce technologies and sophisticated e-commerce analytics • Interpersonal and persuasive skills, particularly with business decision makers. When you’ve identified an opportunity, you must effectively articulate the business case to get approval • Analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative. JOB SUMMARY: The Director of International Sales will be responsible for strategic initiatives and effective development of customers in the international market and through equipment sales that meet their needs.
