Position Overview

STI-TEC is seeking a Capture Manager to support the company’s rapidly growing federal market segments, including Professional Services, Engineering & Logistics, Intelligence, Information Technology, and Training & Education. The Capture Manger will work with the Director of Capture Management to identify opportunities, develop bid strategies, write technical solutions, and manage partner relationships within various target markets.

Essential Job Function

· Identify, plan, document, and manage all internal and external capture project efforts;

· Communicate capture strategy and ensure successful implementation;

· Analyze business opportunities to understand the scope, required resources, teaming. schedule, and pricing required to develop a competitive response;

· Monitor, review, and direct proposal progress to ensure adherences to capture process and proposal schedule;

· Provide technical writing and solutioning support to proposal management team;

· Participate as an independent proposal evaluator in all major proposal color and compliance reviews;

· Provide weekly status to Director of Capture Management regarding status of pipeline, proposals, and pending awards;

· Design, generate, and provide status on reports designed to provide insight on the capture efforts of the company;

· Conduct outreach to new potential teaming partners and maintain/track activities;

· Manage proposal-required subcontractor relationships and track all data call requirements;

· Assist in developing past performance narratives on newly awarded contracts; and

· Support other duties necessary to successfully capture new business.

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· 5-10 years of experience with Federal Programs or Contracts in one of the following:

o Professional Services

o Engineering & Logistics

o Intelligence

o Information Technology

o Training & Education

· Familiarity with government contracting process

· Ability to lead/execute the capture of large, complex government contracts

· Ability to perform detailed research using business development tools (i.e. GovWin, Bloomberg Government, etc.)

· Ability to conduct research and independently provide technical writing to fill gaps in proposal development when needed.
