Position Overview

Provide professional acquisition support services for the Federal Acquisitions Services (FAS) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) division under the General Services Administration (GSA) Region 8.

Essential Job Function

  • Interface with Government personnel internal and external to GSA and industry officials in supporting AAS and the Regional Commissioner’s Office
  • Possess knowledge and experience supporting administrative functions in an office environment
  • Utilize timekeeping and routing systems
  • Knowledge of data, reporting, and analyzing data related to business programs
  • Assists in developing presentations and participates in client meetings
  • Perform data entry and budget review
  • Review, track, provide input to, and organize documents related to acquisition activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • One year of experience providing administrative support for acquisition services
  • Experience with varied and complex project management requirements
  • Excellent record-keeping and organization skills
  • Understanding of current Federal and DoD acquisition regulations and guidance
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of Gmail, SmartSheets, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Proficient in the use of GSA-specific tools such as ASSIST, Concur, and the Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS)
