Job Description

Our client is a well-established Design-Build Firm and developer with over 50 years of experience that focuses on the Southwestern Ontario area based out of Windsor, ON. They are currently hiring a permanent Estimator and the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working on construction estimation.

Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-bid meetings and job walk through’s and investigate project sites.
  • Review and understand all construction documents, specifications, agenda, bid documents and geotechnical reports.
  • Perform complete and accurate material take-offs
  • Prepare sub-trade tender requirements and request for quotes.
  • Provide estimates for labor, material, equipment, and sub-trade.

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 5 years experience in the construction estimating
  • Organizational skills, detailed oriented, superior analytical skills
  • Excellent proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment.
  • Valid G License.
