Director of Recruiting Operations

Who: A hands-on recruiting leader with healthcare or high-volume operational hiring experience.

What: Lead and rebuild a recruiting team focused on hiring field-based healthcare professionals across multiple states.

Salary: $140,000–$160,000 base + bonus


Position Overview:

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role focused on rebuilding the recruiting function at a fast-growing healthcare organization. The Director of Recruiting will design strategy, build talent pipelines, and directly support execution until the team is operating at full strength.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 5–6 recruiters.

  • Own hiring strategy for frontline healthcare professionals and operational leaders across 10 states.

  • Develop partnerships with educational institutions to secure talent pipelines.

  • Oversee recruiting metrics, ATS improvements, and process modernization.

  • Intervene when needed to remove hiring roadblocks and drive results.

  • Partner with HR and field operations to align recruiting with business needs.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of recruiting leadership experience, ideally in healthcare or operational environments.

  • Proven success hiring for high-volume, high-turnover roles.

  • Strong relationship builder with a sales mindset and thick skin.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and high-growth dynamics.
