Senior Producer - Employee Benefits
Compensation: Up to $175k
This Top Five national commercial and employee benefits insurance broker is seeking a very passionate, energetic and driven employee benefits or commercial lines insurance producer to drive new business in Virginia including Richmond and Virginia Beach. We can purchase your existing book of business OR wait until your two-year non-compete expires. With the support of a high-level sales support team and the best national carriers, this position provides unparalleled growth and challenge + the ability to create significant wealth via unlimited commissions.

The Opportunity:
- Top Five National Broker; unlimited compensation.
- Guaranteed Salary up to $200k + commissions prior to validation.
- Sell small groups 2- 50 lives, mid-market groups up to 500 lives or elephant-hunt for >1,000 lives sector
- You will be supported by a team of subject matter experts in level and self-funded products and deal structures.
- Award-winning sales training, mentoring, and coaching are provided.
- Immediate warm internal and external leads from the Practice Leader.
- Sell industry-leading innovative custom products (both EB and C/L) built to win new business.
- Expert nationwide sales support and marketing placement professionals supporting you.
- Very stable & secure: earn stock grants
Background Preferred:
- A demonstrated track record of selling to C-level decision-makers
- Demonstrated success with clients in the 100 - 1,000 employee segment
- Needs to be a “hunter” and willing and able to generate new revenues
- Knowledge of the Richmond/Virginia Beach market is required.
- A closer – one who can both prospect and close
- Must have a fundamental understanding of self-funding
- Must be a consultative seller and NOT a transactional seller
- Excellent relationship-builder and team player
- Experience working with contact databases and related data mining
- Degree preferred
- Specific experience with local area businesses
- Community leader of heavily involved

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Bright, intelligent, direct communication style…polished
- Must be passionate about building a business from the ground up
Compensation Structure:
- Compensation based on experience and insurance sales track record.
- Bonus: Base + commission structure and other possible accelerators
