Assistant Controller - Alpharetta, GA

Position Overview:

The Accounting & Operations Manager will manage daily financial operations, ensure compliance, and improve processes. This is a hands-on role with leadership potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
  • Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and budgeting.
  • Provide financial analysis, forecasting, and cost modeling.
  • Lead the transition to a new ERP system.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, services, and technical teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost analysis.
  • QuickBooks software
  • Experience with ERP system transitions (NetSuite, Great Plains, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
