Program Manager - Connected Mobility Solutions

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead fast-paced, global, cross-functional teams. We seek someone entrepreneurial and customer-focused, able to identify and mitigate risks and escalate in a transparent and collaborative way.

You will lead cross functional teams that design our connectivity gateway products and the processes by which they are built. You will drive to achieve the technical, schedule, and budget objectives of every project. The members of your teams will include engineers from many disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Test, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, Sourcing, etc.). You will also collaborate closely with our auto manufacturing partners in North America, Europe, and Asia, to deliver solutions to our diverse international OEM and Tier One Suppliers, as well as new customers.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
  • Project management certification or an equivalent level of professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager (or Senior Project Manager) in an Automotive OEM or Tier-One supplier managing multiple technical projects simultaneously and delivering to agreed upon cost, quality and timing expectations
  • Experience leading and managing relationships with customers, internal team leads, and 3rd party vendors
  • Experience using a “Gated” process
  • Experience with the Agile Project Management methodology
  • Knowledge of hardware product development and possess technical aptitude of hardware/software design methodologies
  • Entrepreneurial style and strong customer relationship skills
  • Critical thinking skills necessary to prioritize and direct activities of cross-functional teams
  • Strong application of risk management methodologies with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and escalate in a transparent and collaborative way
  • Strong listening skills and a customer, quality, and team focus
  • Leadership, high integrity, honesty, courage, humility, talent, and intelligence
  • The ability to challenge respectfully, and the humility to embrace being challenged

  • Working knowledge of standard program management tools including MS Project.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% and establish strong working relationships with our customers, partners, and suppliers

Preferred:

  • Experience in IT architecture, Software Development Life Cycle execution and engineering in a manufacturing related field
