Position Summary:
As the Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing operations in Linden, NJ. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the plant's day-to-day operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Establish and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize production output.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess inventory costs.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to plant personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product launches, quality initiatives, and other business objectives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
