Position Overview

Work on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program, perform all functional duties independently, and oversee the efforts of more junior members of the team.

Essential Job Function

  • Provide planning support and regional threat/intelligence reports, which detail the results of research conducted and the analysis performed, along with recommendations for countermeasures to reduce risks associated with any potential and identified threats.
  • Perform all-source intelligence analysis related to military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability.
  • Research, develop, present, and publish all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels; includes imaginary intelligence (IMINT,) signal intelligence (SIGINT), and counter intelligence (CI) / human source intelligence (HUMINT) products.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, information papers, trend analysis, written assessments, research and analytical notes/summaries, and published analytical reports.
  • Analyze information in accordance with US Army Central (USARCENT) Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR) and other information requests.
  • Assist in maintaining situational awareness of Partner Nation Intelligence capabilities and initiatives in order to facilitate productive and mutually beneficial Military Intelligence to Military Intelligence engagements and build enduring partnerships.
  • Help the USARCENT Force Management Analyst identify, refine, track, and submit manning and equipping capabilities for theater-level Army requirements.
  • Travel will be required

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science and three (3) years of Intelligence Analysis experience; OR Associate’s Degree six (6) years
  • Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance
  • Former DoD occupation specialties or Federal Government Agency equivalents of the following military occupation specialties:
    • Army - 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A; USMC – 0204, 0210, 0211 - Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist, 0231 Intelligence Specialist; AND
    • U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist; AND
    • USAF –1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analysts
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and current information automation and dissemination knowledge management (KM) tools such as SharePoint or other KM tools
  • Proficient in utilizing intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Possesses a USCENTCOM Area of Operations and Area of Influence regional political/military science background
  • Must be a US Citizen unless the provisions of Army Regulation 25-2, Information Assurance have been fully completed and approval has been granted by the Government for the non-U.S. citizen to perform the required support
