This experienced P&C Marketing Carrier Rep candidate will be responsible for the day to day interactions between the client insurance broker firm and the various commercial lines carriers in the development of creative strategies, pricing, delivery, and analysis of market research information leading to the production of new and renewal business.

Background Required: (‘must haves’)

  • 5 + years of Employee Benefits account management experience
  • L&H license
  • Professional Designations a big plus
  • Demonstrated success managing a book of business consisting of between 50 - 250 lives
  • Extensive experience with local and regional carriers and products
  • Experience with accounts >50 employees
  • Success in working independently and as a team
  • Customer Interface Experience
  • Very team oriented
  • Customer service oriented
  • Organized and able to multi-task
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent customer relation skills
  • Methodical
  • Collaborative
  • No management experience required
  • Ability to round out and upsell existing accounts


  • Service and maintenance of mid-market accounts in the 50 - 250 employee lives segment
  • Consult and interact with customers via email, phone, and Zoom/Teams.
  • Handle updates to accounts
  • Work with current clients handling inquiries, policy changes, etc
  • Work alongside sales producers
  • Driving new business through renewals
  • Complex account manager duties
