Senior Group Benefits Account Manager

This Group Benefits Account Manager candidate will be responsible for working with mid to large group employee benefits producers in providing customer service for customers in that 100 - 750 lives segment and supporting the renewal process.

This position is hybrid with days in office commensurate with experience, but the candidate must reside near either Columbia, MD or Manassas, VA.

The successful candidate will be very bright, polished and have high level communications skills.

Background & Duties:

  • Provide day to day account management of client accounts in the 100 - 750 lives segment.
  • Directly assist producers and account executives.
  • Work with self-funded, level-funded, and fully-insured group benefits products.
  • Experience the world of data analytics and compliance.
  • Work on accounts ranging from 100 - 750 lives.
  • Service the designated book of business as it relates to marketing, claims, administration, and sales.
  • Correspond and coordinate with carriers and vendors on behalf of clients.
  • Maintain client system of record (Benefit Point and Image Right).
  • Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates.

Compensation:

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience with a minimum of $100k + in salary.
