Tax Attorney – Junior Partner - International Tax - REMOTE
Our top Law firm client has a need for a Tax Attorney/Junior Partner.
The ideal candidate is someone at the Senior Manager or first year Partner level with a regional or national CPA firm that is an attorney and would like to put both their tax and legal knowledge to work for clients.
Duties:
- Responsible for International tax and operational structuring for corporations, including global expansion, global transfer pricing strategy, intangible property planning, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, post-acquisition integration and international tax controversies.
- Work with clients ranging from startups to multi-billion-dollar multinationals.
- Duties will also include structuring acquisitions, integrating legal entities.
- Optimizing foreign/US tax base (including negotiating and obtaining tax holidays and utilizing low-tax jurisdictions).
- Advising on cross-border financing, including managing indirect tax costs and ensuring that the final international structure can efficiently meet both US and non-US compliance requirements.
- Advise clients on international M&A transactions and on tax controversy matters, including disputes relating to buy-in and cost-sharing agreements and analysis of the impact of corollary effects, such as earnings and profits and foreign tax credits.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting.
- 10 or more years of tax experience with a Regional or National CPA firm.
- CPA or LL.M in Tax.
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in state of practice.
- International tax experience including transfer pricing a must.
- Must be able to bring a book of business with you.
