Responsibilities:
- Onboarding: Work closely with hiring managers to facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist the Payroll Manager with various payroll tasks, such as processing timesheets, maintaining payroll records, and addressing employee payroll inquiries.
- Benefits Administration: Rollout annual benefits packages and assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues.
- HR Support: Provide general HR support to employees and management, including policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files and HRIS data.
- Reporting: Generate HR reports as needed for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
- Experience in the construction industry or a related field.
