Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Location: Windsor, Ontario, Canada

Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced ultrasound equipment designed for quality assurance of industrial spot welds. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, they have established a significant presence not only in Canada but also in the United States and Germany. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team and drive their financial strategy as they continue to grow and expand their global operations.

Position Summary: The CFO will be responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and strategic direction of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the manufacturing industry. The CFO will oversee all financial activities, ensure the company's financial health, and contribute to the achievement of their long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and
    • Lead financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
    • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  2. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
    • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international
  3. Operational Finance:
    • Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to optimize financial
    • Oversee cost management, pricing strategies, and financial
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient financial
  4. Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the
    • Develop and maintain a robust risk management
    • Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk mitigation
  5. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous
    • Collaborate with other departments to support overall business
    • Provide leadership in the development of financial strategies and
  6. Mergers and Acquisitions:
    • Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and lead due diligence
    • Manage integration of acquired companies to ensure financial alignment and synergy

  1. Stakeholder Relations:
    • Serve as a key point of contact for financial stakeholders, including investors, banks, and
    • Communicate financial performance and strategy to the board of directors and executive

Qualifications:

  • CPA, CMA, or CFA designation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or advanced degree
  • Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial management role.
  • Experience in the manufacturing
  • Strong understanding of international finance, including experience with US and German
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP Experience with Sage 50.
