Entry Level: $50,000+
Intermediate: $60000+

Requirements:
  • Experience and understanding of Manufacturing process, Automobile assembly, and testing (4 years minimum)
  • Hands-on experience with programming of Omron (NJ/NX) or Siemens (TIA Portal/WinCC) /Schneider PLC system
  • Experience programming from the scratch
Asset:
  • A PEO registration is preferred
  • Experience with Data Tracking using RFID or barcode scanners
  • Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

The organization is a leading machine manufacturer in the Greater Toronto Area. They have secured a strong pipeline of projects by diversifying to cater automotive clients across Canada, US, and Mexico.


Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • working understanding of motion control, vision systems, HMI, analog/ measurement, and programmable controllers
  • Create and implement logic from the scratch, create tags, map inputs/outputs
  • Identify client requirements and integrate different controls and machine equipment to fulfill the project scope
  • Working closely with the design engineers and electrical engineering team to discuss solutions
  • Verify, test, debug and commission automation systems
  • Run the parts for verification of process and quality, complete equipment acceptance list
  • Configure industrial communication networks, remote I/O bus systems and similar
  • take part in progress meetings to provide an update to project team members and clients
  • Being a brand ambassador for the organization while interacting with any clients, vendors, suppliers
  • Making sure all activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and all safety precautions are followed
  • Communicating with direct supervisor requesting any necessary training or coaching
