Job Descriptions:
  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of the construction project from design coordination through to project turnover.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules (e.g., MS Project or Primavera P6).
  • Prepare, review, and update project budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports.
  • Coordinate and oversee construction sequencing, critical path milestones, and long-lead procurement.
  • Lead and coordinate general contractors, consultants, trades, and internal teams.
  • Serve as the primary site contact for clients, consultants, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and senior management.
  • Facilitate weekly coordination meetings, safety briefings, and progress reviews.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and oversight to site staff, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure full compliance with local, provincial, and federal building codes, environmental regulations, and health & safety requirements (OHSA).
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues before they impact schedule or cost.
  • Enforce quality control programs and coordinate third-party inspections and testing.
  • Oversee permit acquisition, utility coordination, and municipal approvals.
  • Track and manage construction costs, approve invoices, and issue change orders as required.
  • Review and validate subcontractor claims, RFIs, and progress draws.
  • Implement strong cost-control measures and value-engineering processes.
  • Assist in any additional duties, as requested.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3+ years managing projects over $100M in value.
  • Proven experience in Ontario’s construction industry and knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and permitting processes.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, MS office.)
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of contracts, including CCDC and CCA contracts and supplementary conditions.
