Role: Finance and Operations/Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Management:
    • Oversee large volume payables and receivables using QuickBooks Desktop.
    • Ensure accurate accounting practices across multiple locations.
  1. Sales Tax Compliance:
    • Manage sales tax calculations and filings for various jurisdictions.
    • Stay updated on tax regulations to ensure compliance.
  1. Human Resources:
    • Handle HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and employee benefits administration.
    • Facilitate communication between staff and management regarding HR policies.
  1. Staff Management:
    • Directly manage a small team of 2 employees.
    • Provide training and support to enhance team performance.
  1. Organizational Skills:
    • Implement systems to ensure efficient workflow and organization.
    • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and financial software.
  • Strong understanding of sales tax regulations.
  • Experience in HR management and employee benefits.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
