Seeking to hire a Senior Accountant for Accounting Firm.

  • Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Develops, implements, and recommends accounting procedures
  • Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations
  • Maintains and balances accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies
  • Maintains general ledger
  • Prepares trial balance
  • Reconciles accounts
  • Summarizes financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
  • Completes external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors
  • Complies with regulations and other legal requirements
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Prepare and present reports to upper management
Qualifications include:
  • 5 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and QuickBooks
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality
  • Excellent administrative skills
