.NET Developer

Currently seeking a Software Engineer (Full-time/Permanent) for a leading big data analytics company in Reston, VA. As the Software Engineer, you will build web apps and services to further the company’s mission in providing a great user experience worldwide.

As the Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, build web applications and services in Angular and .NET Core Maintain legacy apps in ASP.NET
• Develop web services that communicate with mobile apps, desktop apps, and home network devices Leverage modern frameworks and software engineering best practices to write code that is extensible, reusable, and maintainable
• Develop and work with databases for application development and data analysis
• Investigate and fix software issues
• Work mainly with Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and MS SQL server

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of experience in software development and web development
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with Angular, .NET Core, ASP.NET, or Microsoft SQL server is a plus
• Git, Jenkins knowledge is beneficial
