This Top Five national commercial and employee benefits insurance broker is seeking a very passionate, energetic and driven employee benefits or commercial lines insurance producer to drive new business in Virginia including Richmond and Virginia Beach. We can purchase your existing book of business OR wait until your two-year non-compete expires. With the support of a high-level sales support team and the best national carriers, this position provides unparalleled growth and challenge + the ability to create significant wealth via unlimited commissions.

The Opportunity:

  • Top Five National Broker; unlimited compensation.
  • Competitive Base Salary + Commissions until validation.
  • Immediate warm internal and external leads from the Practice Leader.
  • Utilize existing sales support team to close large deals in the 50 - 500+ lives segment
  • Flexibility to work the fully-insured, level-funded, or larger self-funded deals.
  • Sell industry-leading innovative custom products (both EB and C/L) built to win new business.
  • Expert nationwide sales support and marketing placement professionals supporting you.
  • Very stable publicly traded organization.
  • Guaranteed salary/draw first 24 months until validation

Background Preferred:

  • A demonstrated track record of selling to HR Directors or C-level decision-makers
  • Demonstrated success with clients in the 50 - 250 employee segment
  • Needs to be a “hunter” and willing and able to generate new revenues
  • Knowledge of the Northern Virginia OR Richmond/Virginia Beach market is required.
  • A closer – one who can both prospect and close
  • Must have a fundamental understanding of fully insured products
  • Must be a consultative seller and NOT a transactional seller
  • Excellent relationship-builder and team player
  • Experience working with contact databases and related data mining
  • Degree preferred
  • Specific experience with local area businesses
  • Community leader of heavily involved

Compensation Structure:

  • Compensation based on experience and insurance sales track record.
  • Bonus: Base + commission structure and other possible accelerators
