CNC- Brake Press Setup and Operator

Job Descriptions:

• Setup and operate the brake press machine to produce parts in the manufacturing process; and
• Run bend and form operations using standard dies.
• Supervise the machines during the production run making any necessary adjustments to produce a better result; troubleshoot and perform maintenance
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Operates various machine tools varying from fully manual operation to completely automated computer-controlled machining centers.

Job Requirements:

• minimum of 5 years experience with setup and operation of Brake Press machine
• experience with Brake Press with CNC controls
• capable of programming Brake Press
• ability to read and interpret shop drawings and produce quality parts with minimal supervision
• proven measurement and mathematical fraction/decimal conversion skills
• ability to work close to tolerance
• ability to work in a fast paced environment, and stand for long periods of time
• ability to understand quality control methods
• manual handling of completed parts up to 70 lbs
• strong communication skills
• read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
• safety shoes required.
