Duties and Responsibilities:

As a Field Engineer, you will act as the liaison between the office and the field. Your responsibilities will encompass construction methods in heavy concrete forming and placing, carpentry, underground and above ground mechanical piping, and equipment installation.

In addition, your training will cover safety management responsibilities, documentation, planning and job scheduling, quality and workmanship, cost controls, employee supervision, coaching, and development. In this role, you will begin to develop strong leadership skills required to manage multiple crews and priorities.

  • Survey and lay-out job site
  • Process and review shop drawings
  • Update as-built documents
  • Audit completed construction
  • Complete daily and periodic report updates
  • Verify and provide inventory analysis
  • Coordinate subcontractors
  • Conduct safety meetings

Qualifications:

Candidates for this position must possess a degree in construction management, civil or mechanical engineering, or other related field. Field Engineers must be willing to travel and/or relocate.

1-5 years experience preferred.
