Highly respected Restructuring, Turnaround & Performance Improvement advisory firm is actively seeking a Vice President and Director to join their team. The firm provides financial and operational restructuring, interim management and strategy consulting services for companies, investors, stakeholders, private equity firms and management teams who desire to improve on value creation or restore performance. Vice President/ Director should be committed to working as a member of a team environment in multiple capacities. Strong Financial modeling, written and verbal communication, organizational and time management skills are required. Long hours during the week and on weekends, due to client engagements may be required.
Vice President/ Director Level Requirements:
Minimum-5 years of relevant experience in corporate restructuring and distressed debt situations preferably in an advisory setting
Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy
Experience providing expert testimony in bankruptcy court
Experience with taking a deal through the bankruptcy process and leading a team while doing so
Strong grasp of how to analyze financial statements and prepare financial models from the ground up
Ability to analyze and forecast cash flows
Understand how to identify key operational performance drivers of a business
Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a frenetic environment
Solid communication skills and ability to form detailed analyses and recommendations
Effectively communicate with clients (ability to request and extract information)
Outstanding client service and interpersonal skills
An undergraduate degree from a top academic institution and a strong GPA required.
Bachelor’s Degree (Business Major)
Master's Degree in Business Preferred
Ability to travel up to 80%
