Bookkeeper
Our client is looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join their team. The candidate should be a high-energy, proactive team player with at least 5 years bookkeeping experience. The successful candidate must be able to work independently or in a team environment as well as have the following skills:
A strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent Time Management and Organization Skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and multi-task
Ability to prioritize
Ability to Work Under Pressure and Maintain Productivity and Accuracy
Ability to Maintain Confidentiality and Discretion
Duties include but are not limited to
Daily management of accounts receivable and payable and general ledger
Collect rent and make bank deposits
Administer Tenant Leases and Service Requests for numerous properties
Prepare Rent Schedules
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Common Fee Reconciliation and Tenant Billing
Prepare Government Remittances (HST, & Corporate Tax)
Prepare T4’s, T5’s and Summary Reports
Preparation of Year End Files for Accountants
This is a Full Time (Monday - Friday 8am-5pm), and is strictly onsite at their office in Windsor, ON. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.
