Commercial Lines Producer - Practice Leader

A start-up Property & Casualty insurance agency is seeking a very passionate, energetic and driven commercial lines insurance producer to drive new commercial business and build a sales organization from the ground up. This individual has the opportunity to develop into a Practice Leader leading and managing an integrated team of sales and support. Background Preferred:

• A demonstrated track record of selling to commercial businesses
• Demonstrated success with clients in the commercial lines small and mid-market segment
• Needs to be a “hunter” and willing and able to generate new revenues
• Knowledge of the WDC regional market is required.
• A closer – one who can both prospect and close
• Someone with both an account management and producer background
• Must be a consultative seller and NOT a transactional seller
• Excellent relationship-builder and team player
• Experience working with contact databases and related data mining
• Degree preferred
• Specific experience with local area businesses
• Community leader of heavily involved

Compensation Structure:

• Compensation based on experience and insurance sales track record.
• Bonus: Base + commission structure and other possible accelerators
