Opportunity: -Director of Business Development -Boston, MA
A business development opportunity with a mid-size contract research organization offering full-service solutions include Preclinical safety testing, clinical pharmacology, bioanalysis, program management, medical writing, biostatistics, and data management.
Coordinate client contact with government agencies, biotech/pharmaceutical companies (both prospective and current clients), to market and ensure customer satisfaction with company services
Work with Business Development management in developing sales and marketing strategy to drive service awards
Respond to client inquiries and provide information including cost estimates and timelines in response to inquiries
Partner with clients and in-house scientific experts to recommend high quality solutions to a wide range of preclinical study design challenges
Contribute to developing and executing strategies that will increase the efficiency of the Client Services group by working with fellow group members as a team
Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Life Sciences or related scientific discipline.
Five to ten years related experience and/or training in the biotech, pharmaceutical or CRO industry
Solid knowledge of the CRO and/or pharmaceutical and biotech industries
Demonstrated success at managing multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously
