Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: WDC
Compensation: $65k - $75k Salary + Bonus + Employee Benefits
Work Environment: Full-time in person or Hybrid
Opportunity: Leading insurance brokerage/agency based in WDC is seeking a candidate with excellent account management and client relationship skills to provide high-level customer service and support to commercial businesses in the WDC region and beyond. Position Responsibilities:
- Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies, providing quotes, answering questions, and reviewing documentation.
- Experience in public transportation services including charter bus services, taxis, limos, and commercial fleet auto experience a Big Plus.
- Experience in the contractor and construction sector is also a big plus.
- Develop, foster, and maintain strong relationships with clients, underwriters and wholesale brokers.
- Ensure all accounts are renewed in a timely manner, working in conjunction with Commercial Team Leader and Producers.
- Verify and maintain policy accuracy across the policy term.
- Manage carrier communications, proof of insurance processing, and the payment of invoices.
- Complete renewal applications and submissions to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
- Assist the billing team with management and coordination of agency-bill accounts
- Advocate on the client's behalf, ensuring high-level of service and value deliver
Requirements:
- Active Property and Casualty License
- Three Plus years of commercial lines account management or similar experience. We can train and mentor, or you can hit the ground running.
- Knowledge of Applied agency management systems is a plus, but not required.
- Self-starter and willingness and ability to take the initiative.
- Experience with direct and agency billing.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills including the Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Creativity and strong problem-solving skills
- Strong task and time management skills (ability to prioritize tasks)
