Enterprise Infrastructure Architect

Position Overview:
This individual will have accountability for working with other SME’s and Domains to deliver a sustainable future focused architecture. This architect will provide technical strategy and supporting IT frameworks to guide the successful design, deployment and operations of IT solutions within key programs and operates with little supervision in a complex environment. This role will be key contributor to the current Business Transformation effort.

Essential Functions:

  • You will help our Digital Product Managers plan for future-state technology portfolios and IT program investments
  • You will champion the architecture governance processes
  • You will lead the application of emerging infrastructure technologies, ensure technical alignment and facilitate technical solution delivery
  • You will be accountable for the long-term success of your infrastructure and maintaining high levels of solution performance, availability and capacity, demonstrating a commitment to quality
  • You will provide vision and successfully influence the direction of complex key technical elements in your domain and others
  • You will be established as a key domain technical leader at the Enterprise level
  • You will embrace and encourage an environment of constructive and profitable challenge.
  • You will constantly seek the input of others and always respectfully contribute to the success of your colleagues

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in Business, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience working in global organizations
  • Work experience in manufacturing or engineering or relevant industry
  • Proven ability to drive change
  • Experience with SAP environment or similar enterprise ERP system
  • Experience with iCloud transformation, ideally with AWS
  • A profitable customer and consumer first always mindset
  • 5+ years of previous experience as an architect or equivalent in a global company with a minimum of 25,000 users
  • Must have a digital mindset: Agile, MVP, learn fast, work in non-traditional global teams and take managed risks
  • Solid understanding of the Infrastructure lifecycle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Accurate and precise attention to detail
  • Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with business customers, leadership, senior management, and internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker, highly organized
  • Resourceful and independent; willing to accept and give meaningful challenge

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or related Masters degree
  • Global experience will be viewed favorably
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft and Siemens Platforms

Additional Skills and Abilities:

  • Travel Requirements – 30% with year one periods of travel to up to 14 consecutive days outside of the United States. Must be able to legally travel to China, EU, Singapore etc.
  • Work Remote or out of a Regional Office is acceptable
