This role will be the very first Engineer hired by the company and will be based in Knoxville at their future "Center of Excellence". You will directly be responsible for setting the pace of developing new manufacturing processes and building out the Process Engineering function.
In addition to this Knoxville facility they have also purchased a successful company out of Boston that you will do the same for. It doesn't stop there because the strategy is acquisition and growth. The sky is the limit and NOW is the time to get in!

POSITION TITLE: Senior Process Engineer
POSITION SUMMARY: The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the development &
implementation of the company's process engineering standards across all areas of the
organization. Overview responsibilities include designing/updating manufacturing processes,
opportunity identification, reporting, root cause analysis, efficiency/productivity improvements,
continuous improvement, and project management for the Company. This critical role will
oversee all aspects of process design such as set deadlines, assign responsibilities, project
reports, process optimization/improvement, and troubleshooting. A wide degree of creativity,
latitude and self-direction is expected.
TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Develop strategy to achieve manufacturing line performance goals related to safety,
quality, yield, labor, capacity, reliability and operability.
 Assist plant leadership in evaluating and implementing key performance indicators.
 Design and validate the necessary processes for new products.
 Ensure availability of financial, material, and human resources required to complete a
project successfully.
 Lead optimization efforts on existing processes to achieve business objectives such as
quality, cost and capacity.
 Develop realistic and detailed plans – scopes, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk
management, measurable metrics – to meet the business goals.
 Provide process documentation/operating instructions and train plant personnel.
 Create best practices to be applied across Company’s manufacturing locations.
 Evaluate process trends to drive improvements and resolve below plan performance.
 Daily support of plant production personnel troubleshooting process issues and
concerns to ensure predictable operation and required output levels.
 Lead meetings by creating agendas, presentations, and action items. Document team
decisions and follow up on action items to assure accountabilities.
 Establish and maintain relationship with third party vendors.
 Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company
regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
 Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
 BS degree in engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical preferred) or a related
technical field.
 8+ years of process design and improvement in a manufacturing environment with
proven/documented results.
 5+ years demonstrated project management experience.
 Proven ability to work effectively across functions; extensive experience leading cross-
functional or geographically dispersed teams, proven mentoring and coaching abilities,
ability to motivate & inspire others
 Demonstrated experience successfully handling multiple assignments in a fast-paced
environment
 Competency in using validation cycle techniques of FAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ
 LEAN/Six Sigma certifications a plus (Six Sigma, Black Belt, Master Black Belt etc.)
 PMP certification (or equivalent)
