As a global, world-class CRO with operations both in the US and abroad, my client is focused on providing support to IND and NDA filings through its continuum of drug discovery/med device/clinical diagnostics testing capabilities. They boast an Executive Leadership team who has united from many of most esteemed pharma, med device, and CROs in the world creating high quality results for clients through their high expectations for maintaining regulatory standards and unique backgrounds to supplement the areas serviced.

My client is adding a Business Development Director to continue its growth in the Tri-State Region. Candidates must currently be living in New York, New Jersey, and/or Connecticut to be considered. Ideal candidates will use their passion for science and business to grow short-term and long-term revenue share within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new business opportunities in the local Pharma & Biotech market.
  • Continue developing relationships with and servicing existing clients, identifying those with highest growth potential and navigating accordingly.
  • Partner with Product Management and Marketing teams to execute new programs.
  • Attend various industry conferences and tradeshows representing the company.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience selling testing services (analytical, bioanalytical, toxicology, DMPK) to Pharma, Biotech, Med Device companies (Contract Research Organization / CRO / CTO).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science field, MBA, Master’s or PhD preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate and articulate your past successes, processes, lead development strategy, etc.
