Currently seeking a hands-on IT Manager for a leading organization in Norwood, NJ. As the IT Manager, you will set the direction and strategy for IT and execute on this plan, while leading a small team responsible for the infrastructure and systems.

Location: Norwood, NJ (100% onsite)

As the IT Manager, you will:

  • Communicate effectively to convey complex technical information.
  • Run and share regular operation system reports with senior staff.
  • Manage and report on the allocation of the IT budget.
  • Act as a departmental resource during infrastructure emergencies
  • Maintain Help Desk tracking system; input problem description in Help Desk tracking system and assist with maintenance.
  • Run regular checks on network and data security.
  • Work closely within the department to diagnose and troubleshoot network outages, maintain network configuration for users and their components/cabling, maintain user accounts, and reboots servers and routers.
  • Provide technical support for internal end users on various hardware and software problems, including operating system support, application support, and system access problems.
  • Train employees on various computer platforms and related components and software.
  • Develop and implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organization.
  • Manage and Provide direction for IT team members.
  • Manage IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and others.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior work experience as an IT manager or in a related position.
  • 6+ years’ experience in Systems Administration within a Windows Enterprise environment
  • Solid knowledge of VMware setups
  • Good understanding of Windows Server environments
  • Experience with Cloud (Azure preferred)
  • Knowledge of M365 (Administration, Intune endpoint and policy management, Office 365, Security, Compliance)
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet firewalls
