Job Descriptions:
- Prepare program by defining project scope in a proper WBS structure, and scheduling the project activities considering the project constraints as applicable.
- Generate Pre-Construction Services Schedule and Tendering Schedule
- Generate procurement and design release
- Incorporates resource and / or load costing data into schedules as required.
- Prepare the baseline Client schedule and trade schedules. Detail the schedules further as applicable.
- Update Project schedules.
- Review the project baseline schedule by meeting with Project Director, Project Manager and senior Superintendents.
- Monitor and track both off-site and on–site progress through site walks bi-weekly and meeting with Site Superintendents; maintain records; discuss and report, highlighting any deviations to the schedule, to the Project team and Scheduling & Operations lead.
- Coordinate with Site Superintendent and Project Manager on procurement sections regarding the interfacing of construction activities and material and equipment delivery
- Attend progress meetings with site project teams, analyze the progress trend and provide advice on program positions
- Analyze any trade produced schedules for compliance and alignment with the main schedule and discuss and communicate any risks. Integrate trade schedule and details, once agreed, into the main schedule.
- Project planning using Primavera & MS Project.
- Communicate with Project team, Scheduling lead and head office management on critical paths.
- Analyze data relating to delay and propose remedial actions
- Discuss with Project team and run various delay scenarios for delay claims submissions.
- Participate and collaborate in preparing Extension of Time (EoT).
- Assist project team to create and monitor short term schedules and determine the alignment / impact on the master schedule.
- Produce as-built wall charts and area progress charts for actual site progress
- Monthly reporting to the owner and the internal board
Job Descriptions:
- Minimum 5 years of scheduling experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management / Engineering or related field
- Proficient in scheduling software including Primavera (P6) and MS Project, and Bluebeam
- Basic Understanding of field construction operations and how project is constructed, including logical sequencing of work
- General understanding of planning and scheduling principles, best practices, and techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure on multiple time-sensitive projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Effective listening, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret drawings.
- Ability to influence others and build strong working relationships
