Software Development Coordinator-Jr/Intermediate

This is a 1-year contract with strong potential to renew or convert to permanent employment.
The Junior or Intermediate Software Development Coordinator will assist in the software department management and coordination of tasks. This role involves working closely with all functions, tracking progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and facilitating communication between stakeholders to ensure successful completion of the tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of software department tasks
- Coordinate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Track and report on progress, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
- Serve as a point of contact between functions or stakeholders.
- Facilitate meetings, such as project kick-offs, status updates, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and distribute project documentation, status reports, and other relevant materials.
- Monitor task completion and ensure that work is aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and change logs.
- Ensure that all documentation is accurate and accessible to relevant team members.

- Until January, onsite Monday - Wednesday 9am-5pm at our client's location in Vaughan, near Canada's Wonderland. Thursday and Friday can work remotely.
- From January 2025, this will change to 5x/week onsite.
