Our client in the Diego Martin Area is looking to on board a store Manager for a retail store:
Main purpose of the job:
Responsible for overseeing all the activities in the store. Plans and directs the day-to-day operations to maximize sales and gross profit. Be at the centre of top quality service delivery to the customers. Accountable for managing department inventory, in- stock position, pricing integrity, merchandising, labour, and other operational processes to company standards. They must follow the Company sales and production planning standards and will ensure that the department achieves the standards of performance as outlined in the work plan. Ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and building of displays

Main Responsibilities:

Improve profit and attain sales target for bright
Deal with all complaints, queries, and other related customer service
Organize training, orientation, and supervise all departmental
Organize holidays.
Oversee receiving orders and stock
Assign and schedule tasks for specific employees and also follow up on the results they
Complete all the operational requirements of the
Appraise, monitor, and plan tasks to be given to individual staff members.
Discipline, counsel, and coach employees to maintain positive result generation.
Initiate corrective actions, analyze variance, schedule expenditure, and prepare annual budget aside achieving other financial objectives of the
Recognize future and present requirements by
Establish good rapport with existing and potential customers.
Collaborate with other members of staff that have good understanding about service
Maintain inventories to ensure consistent availability of the required services and
Study trends, authorize clearance sales and also determine all required sales promotions.
Review merchandising by formulating pricing
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications.
Identify profitability ratio by studying financial statements and operating
Study display plans, sale promotion, and advertising towards marketing merchandise in a profitable manner.
Any other related duties.

Qualifications

3- 5 years’ experience in Store operations. Diploma in management.
5 C.X.C. subjects including Mathematics and English.
