General Overview
The Field Service Supervisor will leverage their expertise and knowledge to ensure the highest probability of success in operational activities. This role supports operations and regional managers in both onshore and offshore environments, assisting with the rigging up, servicing, troubleshooting, and teardown of specialized equipment related to drilling operations.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technician certification (MEEET) preferred.
  • Internal promotion with minimum technical work experience at manager’s discretion.
  • Sufficient training and experience to be thoroughly familiar with the operational characteristics of company products.
  • Valid manual driver’s license.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with the company’s Code of Conduct and comply with all local policies, including HR and HSE.
  • Oversee designated service areas.
  • Maintain 24/7 contact availability for call-out duties.
  • Coordinate and assist with solids control and waste management services at the rig site.
  • Support operations and regional managers in field operations and workshop activities.
  • Foster positive relationships with all crew field personnel and customer representatives.
  • Treat all co-workers, clients, and vendors with dignity and respect.
  • Liaise with customer representatives at the rig site and ensure timely submission of signed documentation.
  • Identify and suggest operational improvements focusing on service performance and efficiency.
  • Manage company resources efficiently across all operations.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Diagnose problems and advise operators on equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
  • Attend in-house training as requested.
  • Support lead supervisors in operational risk assessments and communicate lessons learned.
  • Participate in pre-job toolbox meetings prior to critical operations.
  • Complete preventive maintenance records for equipment and submit reports to lead supervisors.
  • Maintain general housekeeping at work sites and bases.
  • Assist in forklift operations as needed.
  • Fulfill all operators permit and HSE system requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of rig solids control equipment and complete necessary checklists and documents (e.g., JRA, JSA).
  • Manage rig site spare parts, screens, and inventory; timely request needed materials from lead supervisors.
  • Capture relevant information for daily, weekly, and other operational reports.
  • Follow procedures established in the Preventive Maintenance Program and specific equipment manuals.
  • Be willing to drive company vehicles.
  • Complete training in TBOISET and forklift operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Technical Competencies

  • General oilfield knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Certification in MEEET.
  • Strong troubleshooting and fault repair skills.
  • Familiarity with solids control processes, including:
    • Solids Control 101: Overview of the Well Site Services Division and Brandt equipment.
    • Solids Control 202: Detailed knowledge of solids control equipment on drilling rigs (e.g., shale shakers, centrifuges).
