Our client is seeking to onboard an Administrative Assistant for their Office in Aranguez

Terms offered:

Hours of work: 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday including one hour for lunch.
Salary: $6,500.00

Probation for a period of six (6) months.
Successful candidate will be eligible to enter into the company’s group medical scheme covering both minor and major medical expense and includes dental and vision for employees and their families. This scheme is fifty percent (50%) contributory and may be joined after the successful completion of their six (6) months probationary period.

Note: Regular vacation and sick leave entitlement is also offered upon successful completion of the six (6) months probationary period.

Job Summary:

Supporting a team of Directors, Mechanical Engineers and Project Managers, assisting with the department’s general day-to-day operations. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. General administrative duties and tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, answering phone calls, preparing quotations, tenders, etc. and performing other administrative functions as assigned.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • At least five (5) O’level passes including English and Mathematics.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task in a high paced work environment, prioritizing and managing time effectively and to work efficiently to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Experience in the construction sector environment with focus on tender proposals or similar administrative work experience would be an asset.
