Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Public Audit Manager, CPA, to lead our audit team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public accounting, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of the audit process for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for audit-related matters.
- Review and evaluate audit workpapers, financial statements, and reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Identify and address potential risks and opportunities for process improvements, providing valuable insights and recommendations to clients and firm leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices, ensuring the firm's audit practices remain at the forefront of the profession.
- Collaborate with other departments and service lines within the firm to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of public accounting experience, with a focus on audit.
- Proven experience in managing audit engagements and leading audit teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
