Quality Assurance Manager
Job Description
Our client, a leader in the Food and Beverage Industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team.
Duties Include:
- Work with cross-functional teams, lead and develop teams through communication, training and accountability
- Brand integrity and leading the quality assurance department will include:
- Demonstrating knowledge of product and processes, and their impact on overall quality assurance
- Showcase your quality expertise and be the quality technical liaison with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance to regulations and quality assurance standards
Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in an applicable field of study such as Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or similar Science/Engineering
- 5+ years of quality experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of relevant GFSI standards experience such as SQF, BRC, IFS or FS 22000
- 5+ years of experience in Food Safety regulations, FSMA, and industry and market trends
- 5+ years of management experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and we prefer experience with LIMS, SAP, and Intelex
